Light Line has developed a line of patented catheter and dialysis sterilization products using visible light to prevent hospital acquired infections. The product works with existing catheters, and avoids the tissue damaging effects of UV light-based products, and is unaffected by developed resistance to antibiotics. Light Line is currently in the development stage, and will use the current bridge and series A funding for FDA clearance and preliminary marketing.
